From my Landerwood Swim Club News (I’d attribute it to the excellent writer, but I’m not sure who it is):

Regional Planning Solution Found

Landerwood Board proposes ideal solution for Cleveland’s regional challenges: The formation of a new super-suburb from the merger of Hunting Valley, Pepper Pike and Shaker Heights. The new metropolis would be called – Hunting for the Pepper Shaker. “It’s an idea whose time has come. We are stronger together, plus we can have an annual activity of hunting for a bunch of hidden pepper shakers to celebrate our merger” said the mayor of Shaker. The Orange community had hoped to join to create Hunting (for the) Orange Pepper Shaker, but this was voted down by the Hunting Valley community for its clash of colors. “The bright orange just would not do – now if the community had been called Burgundy or Fuchsia, we might have agreed” said an unnamed Hunting Valley denizen. The mayor of Pepper Pike has offered to create a new Brainard road called Extraordinary Brainard that would stretch between the newly merged communities. “We’d seal off the old new Brainard in two giant cul-de-sacs with a deer sanctuary/humane trap on one side and quail hunting in the other.”

Now, if they designed a rec path that went right through that tract, that’s something I could get behind.

…Linda Walker, a leader with Buckeye Firearms, confirmed Wednesday that the group is weighing whether to follow [former Air Force Lt. Col. John] Mitchel’s advice and formally back Pierce.”DeWine won’t be an option for us,” she said.

”If you want to know our opinion it’s short:
