Report from spouse: Line building up because the handheld device used to re-program the electronic voting machine’s access cards isn’t working properly. It gets error messages and there are no people there who can fix the devices. I’ve already reported it.

    Shalom Jill,

Two of the four machines in my precinct were down: one just wouldn’t turn on and someone had tampered with the seal over the memory card on the other. The poll observer told me at 6:40 a.m. that two replacement machines were on their way.

And when do we get Reason No. 1 Not To Vote For Issue 3?

    B’shalom,

    Jeff

Guess what? Toxic Jean Schmidt voted early today. The optical scan machine wouldn’t accept her ballot!

Jeff and Muffet – thanks for sharing that information. Wow re: Jean Schmidt. But you know, you just knew stuff like that would happen. I’m past the crying and into the what next mode – as in, what do we do now. Thank goodness there are so many people watching what’s going on. I’ve heard some people on the radio this morning say,”well I just don’t see the problems. I think it’s mountain out of mole hill.”

    Uh. No.

    Good luck!

    Shalom Jill,

From many small mole hills a mountain can be crafted.

    Go forth and vote grasshopper.

    B’shalom,

    Jeff

Okay – that’s zen or something, right? Or maybe Chinese proverb – what IS that thing about the grasshopper?
