WLST votes


At Garfield Memorial Church in Pepper Pike, three precincts (I’m in C). Long lines but smooth for the most part.

No one else, including the poll workers, seemed to know what I knew: you can go to the Cuyahoga County BOE website and print out a sample ballot from your very own precinct. Go here if you still need to vote and want the sample. It looks exactly like the screen will look.

I did that this morning for my husband and highlighted in bright pink who he should vote for. Whether he did or not – another story (I know we’re washing out on at least one – which is FAR fewer than usual).

How’d I vote?

    Jill, I did the same, including sharing with my spouse. We hate to cancel each other’s votes. I found the sample ballot especially useful for checking against that damned printout and the review screen that you need to scroll up and down to see all your votes. I’m taking no chances with the Diebold machines. I hope it speeded the wait for my fellow voters.

    Too much. But that ballot printout really was useful. That’s the kind of thing they should have had in the PD BOE inserts – maybe it was there but there was so much info in that thing, who knows where it was hidden. Anyway – I think maybe even the PD should have a link to that resource on the OPEN page next time. Ahem – anyone reading who can look into that?
