Not sure why so few folks covering this except that it’s a holiday weekend.

As Meatloaf might say, what’s it gonne be boy, yes, or no? Are Bush folks leaking such ideas because they know how much the public wants out of Iraq but in fact there are no such plans and the NYT is playing along with the administration? Or was it a for-real leak and Bush is furious because he didn’t want the info leaked?

Here’s the Editor & Publisher piece based on Bill Kristol’s Fox News appearance earlier today. Think Progress has the clip here and a transcript of what Kristol said.

I’m not quite sure but what role has the NYT played in all this? Has the threshold for publishing such information sunk too low? Or do they just not care?
