I haven’t met the young man myself yet nor can I find any information on him (name’s reportedly Josh Schaefer; there’s a Joshua Schaefer in Avon Lake but I don’t know whether there’s any chance of them being one and the same). Three city council terms expire this year (out of seven, plus the mayor).

So – after google, where do I go to find more information? Secretary of State? County Board of Elections? City hall?

Call the BOE and ask them who’s pulled for the council races. If there’s no primary, damn, those are due THURSDAY.

If you’re just hearing about this young man today, I hope the threshold is really low; otherwise, he’s likely to be disappointed.

Of course, it’s probably little more than 25 or 50.

If it were me, I’d call the Board of Elections and ask them. Here in Lucas County they’ve always been very helpful in giving me information.
