If Bai’s premise is that Dems need new vision and policies as well as new communication tools and think tanks to match and keep beating the wingnuts, then he’s dead on.

Doesn’t mean you can’t keep bashing Bush on Iraq quagmire. It means you gotta come up with some news approaches to jobs, education, energy etc especially in Ohio — and just maybe you have to (gasp) work with Republicans.

Tip: Keep watching Ted Strickland. He gets it.
