Nevada's Sen> Harry Reid are examples of what makes their gaming possible with rational civic life. He served as head of the Gaming Control Commission while people were trying to set off bombs in his family's station wagon. He hung in there, and got pretty effective state-wide regulation of all aspects of gaming.<br/><br/>Ohio, on the other hand, can't even run a state turnpike, the worker's compensation board, charter schools, or university building projects without major political corruption issues.
