jimi’s style isn’t everyone’s style.  And that may be a good thing.  But it is never like anything else you’ll read or hear.

Today, you can hear jimi and friends discussing O.J. Simpson, the Jena 6 trial in Louisiana and sexual harassment allegations related to the New York Knicks here on today’s segment of The Barbershop.

jimi told me about this project, The Barbershop, which is done for Michel Martin’s Tell Me More program, sometime over the summer.  I haven’t figured out when it’s on locally but that’s the beauty of the Internet – you can listen at your leisure.

If you can’t wait to find out how he feels about O.J., you can read a column by him in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Stumbled on it this morning on NPR’s rebroadcast on Sirius. A great perspective and very entertaining and informative. From my own perspective, I still can’t believe OJ didn’t kill Nicole and Ron (and neither did a civil jury) but as for some people what can we say – trouble seems to follow them around no matter race, creed or color. Do people make their own karma in these situations? I’ve always wondered about that on a personal level as well. Anyway, from now on, I’m making a mental note of when Barbershop is on. Sirius internet just put NPR on but mixes up its programming during the day which they also do to CBC Radio One much to my annoyance.

I need to get me some of that satellite radio. But I’m glad it’s offered over the Internet too. jimi has a very unique voice, no question. Glad you liked it – or at least found it worthwhile.
