Fewer women seek J.D. concerning


I don’t like this one

No, not at all.

In this report

The numbers fall.

Just feels like a Dr. Seuss reaction.  I’ll have to spend more time on this later tonight or over the weekend.  But I find it alarming.  It’s like finding beached whales – you don’t know why, but you know it can’t be good.

Here, in particular, what upsets and disturbs me:

Although observers say a variety of factors contributed to the dip, the prevailing message is that fewer women want a lawyer’s life.

And why might that be?  I have several ideas I’ll write about later.
