I just thought I would make an official announcement.

Which means that I must be the token fill in the blank when I get asked to do…whatever it is I get asked to do.  Because I am telling you – honestly – no one reads this blog.

Weird, weird, weird.

    Um, yea, Ok.

    I guess I don’t count.

    Fine.

    Be that way.

Although I did the same thing a few months ago, and found folks came to my blog and I didn’t know about it.

So, tell you what: I’ll add you to my blogroll, and then the no ones that come to my blog will come to yours, too. We can share nobodies.

    How’s that?

If you’re going by page views alone, don’t forget to count your RSS stats. I only actually go to the blogs I read if I have a comment.

Ha! Flushed you out, Henery! SEEEE? I knew your real name couldn’t be Henery. It’s No One.

    :)

Hmm, wait a second. Len – are YOU No One too?

    ;)

Yeah – I was just having a late night pity party for one. No good excuse.

  5. 5 Paul on October 10th, 2007 7:59 am

Like Len, I usually access your blog through the RSS feed. By the way, because of the HUGE number of links on your top page, it takes my phishing filter a long time to do its thing and release the page. Not usually a problem, but thought you should know.

Okay – so No One is triplets now? ;)

    Thanks, Paul.

Did I ever write about this dream I used to have over and over, in which I’d be screaming but no one could hear me? (This is true btw) and I thought that everyone had dreams like that – that, in dreams, no one could hear themselves scream.

Then I learned – um, no – it was just me.

I think I’m not liking the silence I hear when I scream about stuff. I think I probably feel like a lot of Americans.

I can’t tell if that’s sarcasm, irony, or just plain fishing for comments ;-)

Nobody reads this blog….one of the silliest things I’ve ever heard.

  8. 8 Jill Miller Zimon on October 10th, 2007 8:14 am

Let me tell you something, Rob – you have no idea how few No Ones read this blog. And frankly, it just amazes me as well. I do NOT get it. (seriously) No fishing. Just pure perplexity – perplexion – per something. I’m trying to think of what phenom it’s like but I can’t right now.

Welcome to the No One Family. :)

So I’m not really here, eh?
That’s it – no latkes for you! :)

I read this blog, Jill. And Wide Open, when I remember it exists. Congrats on that promotion, by the way. And the new layout looks nice.

[...] No one reads this blog [...]

  12. 12 Jill Miller Zimon on October 10th, 2007 11:23 am

Well fine, Keith – then I’ll have to live with Hamantasch.

You know – I wrote about this last Purim, but I didn’t realize why the first wife, Vashti, refused to “please” the king and got cast out. He wanted her to, like, dance naked in front of a room full of men and she said no. Good for her – but I was shocked that I’d never been taught THAT part of the story! Just the part about how great Esther was. lol

Hey Mark – and I get The Cauldron’s RSS feed – love it! I flagged a couple of articles from yesterday or the day before but haven’t had a chance to write about them yet.

MAYBE – if I stopped whining about no one reading my blog…I’d find more time for the real post-worthy stuff. ;)

    Thanks.

Yes, add me to the list of those who don’t read it.

  15. 15 John Ettorre on October 10th, 2007 2:55 pm

Sorry, I don’t do smiley faces, but I hope you still understood that my previous comment came with a smile.

  16. 16 David Potts on October 10th, 2007 5:15 pm

I guess my earlier comment didn’t go through (my network has been acting up, I’m sure it was a problem on my end). Anyways, you can add me to the list.

I’m a No One! Who are you?
Are you — a No One — Too?
Then there’s a pair of us!
Don’t tell! they’d blog of us — you know!

How dreary — to be — Somebody!
    How public — like a Frog –
To tell one’s name — the livelong June –
    To readers of a Blog!

    – with apologies to Emily Dickinson
    (her original poem here)

So many No Ones! I can’t STAND it! :)

Thanks No One. I bet No One reads your blogs too. :) We’re in good company.

  20. 20 Lisa Renee on October 10th, 2007 11:58 pm

Can I be different and be a nobody instead of No one?

You know how I like to be the rebel of the bunch…

    :-)

  21. 21 Jerid on October 11th, 2007 12:04 am

Every now and then, dontcha’ know?

  22. 22 tim on October 11th, 2007 9:41 am

First the Religious Right tells me I don’t exist, and now so do you. ;)

  23. 23 Jill Miller Zimon on October 11th, 2007 12:28 pm

Lisa Renee – I hear by dub you NoBody. :)

  24. 24 Jill Miller Zimon on October 11th, 2007 12:47 pm

Jerid, Tim – thanks. Sometimes I read you too. ;)
