From the Family Research Council website:

CNN has more about the straw poll here.

What are the key questions you ask when you see these numbers?

I ask: what proportion of Republican primary voters adhere to or ascribe to the policy positions of the Family Research Council and the views represented by people who attend and/or present at an event like The Washington Briefing? Depending on the answers, these numbers may or may not mean anything.

I would say not a good sign for McCain to finish behind Rudy in this poll.

So – I asked this question on Wide Open – how predictive is this poll, at all? "JoeEC" – a frequent commenter on Wide Open seems to be saying that it should be pretty predictive because he aligns the numbers of people who support family and marriage and God with people who would be part of FRC.

If that's true, I have asked him, then why can't they agree on anyone?
