In this video, Jeff describes the demise of the Wide Open blog that was triggered by Ohio Congressman Steve LaTourette’s anxiety over a $100 donation made to LaTourette’s opponent. Please consider it. Thanks. (I had to remove the image because I couldn’t figure out how to re-size it and ran out of time!)

Pathetic…you aren’t trying to milk this for political gain, now, are you? You people, taking this and trying to build a controversy to build audience….sad….

If you don’t have your own blog, get one. Otherwise I’m going to deny you the pleasure you seem to get in writing twisted comments by deleting them.

Hi Jill, when you have time to tackle the resizing issue – here is a post I did on how to do it. Turns out it’s really easy – but it took me finally asking a few people to find out how.

    Shalom Jill,

How to resize a YouTube video. All you need to know is the width you want it to be and some basic 6th grade math.

Take the width you want (say 400 pixels) and plug it into this formula:

    335 * [YOUR WIDTH] / 425 = NEW HEIGHT.

    335 * 400 / 425 = NEW HEIGHT.

Go to your YouTube post and look for this code:

    [object width="425" height="355"]

Note, [ ] brackets should be changed to brackets.

    And change it to:

    [object width="400" height="NEW HEIGHT"]

    So in this example:

    [object width="425" height="355"]

    Would become:

    [object width="400" height="334"]

You can resize any YouTube video, larger or smaller, this way.

    B’shalom,

    Jeff

    Shalom Jill,

    Oops…

The square brackets [ ] should be changed to angular brackets: SHIFT , and SHIFT .

    B’shalom,

    Jeff
