No doubt there will be more opining. I’m probably not going to be around to highlight it all, but here are a couple of posts for starters. If I can get to more as they come in, I will (quick NB: I don’t like the triumphant tone – too full of hubris for me, and given how much some folks think I preen, well – just imagine what my threshold must be):

From the Left:

We Win Ohio. We Win Canton. GOP Dead.

Bob Bennett Would Never Lie To Ohio

Clark Street Blog on Cincinnati (from the left, yes? Correct me if I’m wrong)

Akron from Psychobilly Dem

Pho predicting implications yesterday – can’t wait to see what he writes today!

Pho phrom today

From the Right:

State of the Union: here and here (which is the Ohio GOP head, Bob Bennett’s statement)

The triumphant tone is important. Because everywhere right now, the GOP is trying to say this doesn’t matter. That this was bound to happen.

It’s important for folks to know what a whomping the GOP took. That this hasn’t happened in well over 100 years. That there’s massive implications behind yesterday’s victories.

Is it smooth sailing now? Nope. ’08 is here, and we’re gonna have to work out butts off. But looking at yesterday, we’re in a great spot.

Being in a good spot is good. I just, personally, would leave it at that – but I’m a very superstitious type – I do NOT want to tempt fates – it is just too easy for others to take that as a cue to look for or fabricate an Achilles heel.
