You know what you’re doing, so don’t hesitate to take control and push things in the right direction. Any more time spent wandering around wondering what to do is silly. If you are worried about getting a ‘bossy’ image, don’t sweat it — people respond to your leadership qualities and think you should be in charge! The fact that you encourage the opinions of other people is one of your strongest qualities, but you will have to know when to draw the line.

Go check yours.

But then again, we’re just looking at the horoscopes for our own entertainment right? I’d believe that if I weren’t such a stereotypical Scorpio!

Mine for today: You and you alone will resist the manic impulse to engage in orgiastic consumerism to celebrate the holiday season. Many will look to you for guidance and wisdom in these matters so do not spare them your thoughts. Refrain from overindulgence in fowl eating. Now is a good time for taking stock of snow removal equipment. Although Oscar Wilde said it was perfectly easy to be cynical, its OK to see the good in things every now and then. Maybe tomorrow.

Never knew until now that we’re both Leo’s. That explains things.

As I am waiting to start cooking what I am taking to my TG event, I knew I wanted to come and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving Jill. So here I am and your Leo horoscope is intriguing, I am watching a Bob Dylan documentary on VH1. I’m thinking there is never a time to not push us all to think and be better.

Keith – did it really say that about the fowl eating!? you are joking.

Why John – does that mean that you didn’t read my blog on 8/12/05, /06 OR /07!? I am wounded! :)

You wouldn’t believe the number of friends (and exes) I have who are Leos. It surprised me – I wouldn’t think Leos and Leos go well together. Though my husband is not a Leo.

Hi Carole – if you don’t see this until after your TG event, I hope it was wonderful, warm and memorable. Looking forward to our next field trip – Marie Wilson, yes? I have my notes from Diane Rehm and need to get them into writing.

Have a great day and thank you for being so supportive. And THANK YOU for the heads up about the rail show on CPN – I listened until we couldn’t get a signal for CPN anymore.

It’s frustrating that public radio signals don’t work as well and the crappy ones do lol. Jill I too am looking forward to the Marie Wilson event – should be very interesting…and it’s hard to believe Nov is almost over!

You’re right–it’s more accurate to say I once knew that you were a Leo but subsequently forgot.

Thanks, John – I always fear my memory – because of what it recalls as well as what it forgets. My fears of being gaslighted are immense.

This passage Garrison Keillor wrote the other day on Salon.com has the ring of truth for those of a certain age:
“Each fact you absorb squeezes out another — the name of Frank Sinatra’s first big hit with the Dorsey band or the order of the minor prophets or the location of Ukiah, Calif. The brain is full. Learn one thing, lose another. In comes a song, out goes math.”
