First California tried this, and now Massachusetts is trying this.

But California eventually did this,  so will Massachusetts end up doing the same?

Sigh.

Remember this stuff I wrote about behavior? Not changing because of law? Starts long before law is even contemplated?

Yeah. Same thing.

Over, and over, and over.

    I will say this born of hard experience with a father who was a Marine MP who got the crap kicked out of him by his father on a regular basis:

    your children will remember until their dying day every single time you beat them.

    remember that when you’re old and infirm and need their help.

    Well, without saying too much, there’s also an impact on the witnesses.

    I have a couple of good friends who believe in corporal punishment and we’ve had chats now and then about it, but I value my friendship with them over judging and we leave at the agree to disagree door.
