Someone must have some illustrious list of all the political folks, all along the spectrum, who can’t vote because of their convictions. When thinking about white collar criminals – Martha Stewart, Michael Milken – I would guess we could say the same – there must be a list. Are felons allowed to give money to PACs and otherwise express their preference, with their money if not their vote?

    Only black felons get purged off the voter rolls.

    I’m sure that whatever is left in his “Legal Defense Fund” will be put to good use.

    You know, now that I’m thinking about who can’t vote etc. – doesn’t it seem arbitrary in some way? I don’t know – there’s just something not democratic about how we try to be democratic – maybe it’s just in practice. I don’t know.
