I agree – but I have bad cell habits to break to, I confess. I’ve gotten over some, but have replaced them with others. The fact is, I don’t actually USE my cell often – it’s more to be sure kids and schools can reach me. And unfortunately, it’s hard to plan when they want to do that!

Some of the ring tones are particularly annoying. I think it is rude to answer when face-to-face with others, and texting while with others is the ultimate in rudeness. I know what you mean. I am kind of gleeful when I forget my cellphone but interestingly, with three kids in school, the schools pretty much expect to be able to reach you. We leave them with a zillion numbers at the beginning of the year, but they really want to be able to reach you in an ER.
