Because this is all the time I should take:
2. The brains behind Joe Cimperman’s stealing of Tom O’Grady-oriented URLs? Why, someone from Frank Jackson’s office. Lovely:
He’s a Cleveland Executive Fellow who was hired by Ken Silliman, Frank Jackson’s chief of staff, to serve as special assistant to the mayor last year….Wobser, however, was still on the payroll when he registered the domain names on Dec. 4. His 90-day leave of absence did not take effect until the 10th.
If it were my campaign, I’d fire the person, very publicly. Simply telling O’Grady that he can have them for free keeps the media circus involved. Let the shame game begin.
3. Check out this tale of tasering. My college roomie was at the Nationals, though not the party where the tasering happened. What a way to thank 2000 people for showing up to your town to host an event.
4. Republicans don’t like their candidates – but they elect them anyway.
5. Didn’t people blog about Iran’s president’s blog a long time ago – 8/14/06 to be exact?
6. Discuss electronic voting 12/19, 9am, Cuyahoga County BOE
7. On why mass violence occurs – I agree with much though not all that’s written there.
8. The Doninger brief is online now. H/t Aldon Hynes. This is the case that involves the high school student who used the DB word on her livejournal and was booted from running as class secretary.
10. Morgan Stanley latest analyst to stop covering newspapers
11. I LOVE this story – especially as a former Ombuds and risk management director.
12. Remember Regent University? They’re looking for a full-time journalism prof for an interactive journalism program.
13. How many congressional legislators do this? Why don’t more? Thanks David for blogging about it.
14. Come on people – Scott can’t do it all by himself! Doesn’t anyone else want to weigh in on this school funding reform proposal?
15. And for fun, if you wonder why those undies came into existence? I’d put money on them coming from someone related to the people who created all the princesses.
Phew – now that I’ve cleared my tabs, on to the Carnival editing.

[...] Previously, I linked to this very detailed thread about a Tasering incident in Cincinnati during the weekend of 12/8-9/07, when a close friend of mine (who was not at the party involved) and about 2000 runners from across the country convened there for a national cross-country championship.
