You know, I guess I care, I guess I really do. Because I was clicking on the PD’s OPEN (a bookmarked site in my toolbar) and sure enough, there was the announcement about Jim Trakas running against Dennis Kucinich (and others) in the OH-10 congressional district.

And I looked at the timestamp. And it said 11:44am.

Now, I couldn’t remember when I posted mine, so I went and looked.

12:44.

Hmm. But it’s actually only 12:30 NOW, as I type this.

My timestamp is off/was off. Argh.

Apparently it’s some inherent issue with WordPress, or something.

So, seeing as how even the 12:44 time was not possible, I went into my admin, changed the -4 to -5 so that all posts from now on will be correct AND I changed the timestamp on the Trakas announcement (and the two posts after it) to be correct too.

I pretend for myself that I’m not competitive. But I am really good at denial.

Now – was Jim planning on sending out that announcement today? It’s dated yesterday so I guess GOP folks already had it (though I’ve been told that it went out today).

Did the PD have it already? I have no idea. I do know that Jim wanted the PD to get the news first, but why it wasn’t posted yet, I can’t say. I didn’t get the news from Jim. I doubt my post pushed the hand, no reason to wait until Friday for a candidacy announcement event on Saturday.

Probably just happenstance. But still curious. Fate I suppose.

Oh – ps? I got the memo about the announcement at 11:39am.

It truly doesn’t make much difference whether or not your time stamp is accurate. So, why make a big deal about it?? Really! It DOES NOT matter!

What’s strange is how much you dwell on this! Why do you believe this is a serious issue and why should people in the Ohiosphere pay attention to you? Will Lake Erie part for you like the Red Sea did for Mosses?

I doubt it very highly, but you can believe whatever you want, whenever you want, however you want, about anything/anyone you want. But, others don’t have to follow your lead. The reality is most people do not admire you the way you believe they do. You are fooling yourself and a small niche group of people.

    Go comb your hair!!

This isn’t good news for Jason Werner ;)

Wow Dave, cut back on the coffee or up the meds. I don’t agree with 99% of Jill’s politics, but that is why this is a discussion site.

A poor attempt at veiled anti-semitism with the Moses comment.

I did not pay Joe to post that. Just to be transparent and all.

Dave seems to want to address Joe so I sent Joe Dave’s comment (and passed on leaving it up for everyone else) and I wrote Dave that I sent Joe Dave’s comment.
