ODP Women’s Organizing Convention 1/12-13/08


I don’t know a lot about this event – I’m trying to get more details.  I’ll be at RootsCamp on Sunday, 1/13 but maybe I’ll try to pop over to the ODP?  Anyone going?

    Hi, Yes, a few of us Southern Ohio Belles* will be going. I forgot about the roots camp. Maybe we can compare notes/share?

    * This word does not fit our persona – just goes well with Southern.

    Constance – thanks for reading and leaving this comment. Yes, well – I don’t really know Jane Sonenshein but her son, Jason, and I debate on different issues and he’s a GOOD arguer. :) I respect that. From what I’ve read of her work with the school board and her background, she seems like someone who really cares and thinks, doesn’t just push an agenda – of her own or anyone else’s.

    Good luck with the conference – yes – we should figure out a way to formally and maybe publicly exchange notes – see if the ODP and Progress Ohio can facilitate that.
