Shameless plug for a relative by marriage.  From USA Today:

Last Last Chance by Fiona Maazel (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, $25)

What it’s about: A comic novel with a sense of the absurd, thanks to its drug-addicted main character and her dysfunctional family, including a dead father who is blamed when a lethal virus vanishes from a lab.

Why it’s hot:Publishers Weekly says Chance “is brimming with wit, ideas and delightfully screwball humor.” And the author’s dad is conductor Loren Maazel.

On sale: March 18

Way to go, Fiona.
