Regarding The Point going on hiatus, I can’t say it any better than one guru in new media expressed it to me, “Jeez-us…. Are they kidding?”
Here’s the story that The Point posted as to why, after launching just two days ago, the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com has felt compelled to put it on hiatus.
Meanwhile, the Plain Dealer’s political website, OPEN, has a new look. I like this Ohio voter demographics page. As for the content, looks like all the usual suspects - for now (no, I don’t know anything you don’t know).
I’ll have more to write when I’m not in pain - I’m about to go to la-la-land courtesy of a muscle relaxant because I injured my back and can’t move. Seriously. But I thank God for my husband and health insurance. And also, a very untimely death of someone who was important in an unusual way in my family’s life in the last 24 hours has me thankful for only having back pain.

I’m thinking more in terms of hypothesis testing that doesn’t work out and has to be reformulated. Always a positive spin.
Jill, get well soon.

Thanks, McKee - I’m a really crappy patient.
