This pdf indicates that NBC directed people to get press credentials from the Florida Press Association for the Florida Atlantic University GOP debate through an online application process.

But here, NBC had Drexel University’s Office of University Relations be in charge.

Now, we have a Cleveland Press Club, but I don’t know if they’ll be involved. If they are, don’t you just know poor George Nemeth is going to be swamped more than usual with new social networking friend?

Here’s the original post about the Democratic primary debates coming to Cleveland State University on Saturday, February 26, in case you missed it.

If I learn anything, I’ll write like I hear.

I called the News Station, they said they were still working on details and had no information on what would be required to get blogging credentials. It was suggested I call back again in a few days.

As a ps…the title of “Deadline for Credential applications” shows all the way across the screen and in firefox it blocks the ability to hit the post button. In IE it still blocks it but I can hit post.

You directed us to the Press Club site earlier; I was impressed at how low tech it was (oh I hope they aren’t reading they won’t let me go to the debate :-)

Yeah – it’s not bad but I don’t think it’s that user friendly – maybe with George involved, they will start to reflect a new century. :)
