    My 15-year-old son was, ironically, working on biology homework while I was watching coverage of one of the primaries and he was mystified by Mike Huckabee being a creationist. There were a few other faith references to other candidates. And then he asked:

    “When did religion become so in your face? Isn’t it supposed to be a private matter?”
