From the Cleveland Free Times:

State of the City Address

Hopefully Mayor Frank Jackson will share the urgency many Clevelanders feel when he delivers the State of the City address at 12:20 p.m. today at the Crown Plaza Hotel (777 St. Clair Ave.) sponsored by the City Club of Cleveland. The annual event allows the mayor to tell us what’s going right and what’s going wrong in Cleveland and what he plans to do about the latter. The event is sold out, but it will be broadcast live on channels 3 and 5 and WCPN-FM 90.3.

You can listen to it live here or go to WCPN, here, when you want to listen at your convenience later.

According to the press release from the mayor’s office:

[the address is] entitled “Confronting our Reality Head On: Turning Challenges into Opportunities” [and] will focus on the City’s finances and operations; creating an attractive investment environment; strengthening our regional economy; improving public safety; and education and opportunities for our young people.

I’ll have to listen later and/or read a transcript when one becomes available.
