Wish Bill O’Neill well – on St. Patrick’s Day no less


News about Democratic candidate for Ohio’s 14th congressional district Bill O’Neill’s release from the hospital:

Good news! Bill was released from the hospital today. He’ll spend the next few weeks on the sidelines as we keep the momentum going. Wish him well by signing the online card today!

Yesterday’s “Get Well, Bill” lunch was great. We had to chain Bill to the bed to make sure he didn’t sneak out to go.

For those of you who couldn’t make it, we circulated an oversized Get Well card. I wanted to give everyone a chance to sign it online and wish Bill a full and speedy recovery.

And I’m writing you today with good news. Bill was released from the hospital today after having made a lot of progress. He’s up walking around and feeling a lot better.

As you might imagine, he’s chomping at the bit to get back on the campaign trail, but our first priority is to make sure he gets the rest he needs so he can make a full recovery. His doctor told me there’s no reason to think Bill shouldn’t be able to come back stronger than he was before the surgery. It’d be great if you could send him a word of encouragement to let him know we’ll keep this campaign going while he gets back to health.

One thing I learned a long time ago is, when you’re a part of one of Bill’s campaigns, you’re a part of his family. I can tell you that all the well-wishes mean a lot to him.
