I feel really old – but it’s really just that I’m older even though I know I really am not old.

How old do I feel? I was attacked by my golf umbrella-sized umbrella on loan from the hotel where I’m staying in Cambridge, MA for the Women, Action & the Media conference.

The folks running the event couldn’t be nicer and I know they will be swarmed, even though I am a one person swarm with all my questions. I’ll write more posts about what it’s like to be a baby boomer watching women who could in fact be my babies get it together on behalf of very important and diverse causes. But for those interested in seeing the venue and how it’s shaping up, take a look:

Another sign of my age, relative to the rest of the attendees? I’ve been sitting here for over an hour because I somehow messed up two attempts at making a less than two-minute video for uploading.

That, and my herniated disk.
