This post is a very bloggy post.

It’s not a political post like…David Brennan got slapped with a $5.2 million fine for being a liar routing money illegally to politicians from the profits he earns off the backs of Ohio and other states, I presume, kids who attend his dubious education institutions managed by White Hat Management.

It’s also not a post that’s political in nature because it tells you that a company called ClipBlast will be indexing political videos for newspapers.

And it’s not issue-political, like this post about National Autism Awareness Day.

Nope, this is a post reminiscent of some of my very early work and only more intermittent in the last several months.

It’s a post that emits a big f**king enormous sigh at the end of a really, really busy day – made more grueling by the constant change in direction required in order navigate an endless parade of roles.

This post isn’t about complaining – it’s just my exhale.

In fact, I’m so exhausted just at the thought of emitting this exhale, I can’t find the energy to go through it again, but it involved being a mom, a wife, a woman, a blogger, a journalist, a shlepper, a shopper, a driver, a cook, a cleaner, a laundromat, a homework tutor, a consumer, a party organizer, a listener, a talker, a learner, a leaner and right now, a transcriber (remember those books I was typing up for a second grade class? I’m on the last one – Splashin’ Smashin’ Swimming Stuff).

I kind of feel better now – but mostly, I just wanted to write.  Notice that that role is missing from the above list.

Brennan was not fined…the PAC was, and for violating regulations. Basically regisration law, your opener actually is slander.

Is there a PAC registery online? There should be.

I would have said you commited libel but I do not think you qualify as media.

sorry you are so over worked..hire a domestic :)

It’s a veil and you know it and why you’re being so picky I’m not sure – besides, I offered my disclaimer at the beginning of this post – I said it would be a very bloggy post and indeed it is.

    Jill:

Don’t let the jerks get you down.

I’d like to see David Brennan in prison one day. This is what happens when you let the camel’s nose of predatory capitalism under the education tent.

So much for campaign finance reform. The whole system is rotten to the core with money.

JZ I felt you exhaling as I read, that makes you a writer and a damn good one. Your stream of concsiousness reporting on your many hats reminded me of a wonderful Kris Kristofferson song called Pilgrim Chapter 33 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NAaiRYUBos if you need to exhale sometime in the future, listen to it, he is brilliant of course.

As for White Hat, it makes me so sad.

Doesn’t “shlepper” cover the whole list in one convenient word? Then there’s the etymology; does it deserve the extra C (schlepper) or no?

    Calgon, take her away! ;)
