The matzoh caramel crunch is done:

And I put my mother to use by making a double batch of the rocky road brownies:

Now, I’m getting on a heating pad. Oh – and the power went out. No one told me there were more than ten plagues.

You made me spew some coffee on the plague comment! lol Baking/cooking is hard on the back, plz be careful! Should the power not come back on those delicious morsels and a few forks should do the trick :-)

No kidding! I cannot believe the soreness in my hip. :( I’m taking a muscle relaxant and laying down – I haven’t done that in about 4-6 weeks. I can’t believe how long healing takes. How did anyone ever get to the Promised Land?

(sorry for the little pity party – I know folks are suffering – we’ll talk about that at the seder tonight)

    Thanks, Carole. :)

I don’t know what the eleventh plague is, but I’ll bet Murphy has something to do with It. I do know the eleventh commandment: Thou shalt not get caught doing the other ten.
    Best to y’all from Faversham!

    Hag semeach Jill,

    And it was soooo good.

Hands down, the best Pesach seder I’ve ever attended.

    B’shalom,

    Jeff

My wife Judy made us a farfel kugel using the recipe from my mother who got it from her mother – my bubbie. Delicious. We had a very nice seder last night.

p.s. We could always use a “care package” of matzoh caramel crunch.

Thank you, Jeff Hess, for that compliment. It’s the guests who made it what it was.

You, and the cotton ball hail. :)

Roland – I hope maybe you’ll venture to Bloggapalooza or maybe there’ll be another Meetup in your neck of the woods and I promise, promise, promise – I will make some.

I thought there was some leftover, but I think some child-sized trolls have been snitching it!

Jill, I’ll travel cross country to get some of those yummy treats.

Roland – how about you make them!? :)

Teasing. I promise – part of the next batch is yours. If you want to make that happen sooner rather than later, you might want my kids’ email addresses. :)
