The Write of Return: Israel, 24 Years Later
I lived, worked and traveled in Israel from June 1984-June 1985, when I was 21 turning 22 years old. I didn't know anyone and I didn't speak the language. Now, 24 years later, I'm returning to visit this country with my husband and three children for two weeks through a congregational trip that will last 15 days. This blog is my diary of this occasion. -

Jerid Kurtz of Buckeye State Blog publicly announced his departure from BSB today, while David Potts fka Ohio Valley Politics fka Left of Ohio and Nick DeCenzo fka Blue Ohio take on co-primary authorship of the blog. I’ve linked to David many times, in part because of his emphasis on primary source blogging. I’m not very familiar with Nick fka Dr. Truth but no doubt will be through my RSS.
Nick included this link to BSB’s beta version now in the works.
I wish there was more gender diversity at BSB in the main posts’ authors - that would have been very cool indeed if one of the new primary authors was a female. But, a change is a change and I’ve never stopped reading BSB - only commenting, when the frattiness quotient gets too high. I’m certain that many more people read it than comment on it or about it anyway - as is the case with most blogs.
I wish good luck to Jerid, David, Nick and we readers.

oh come on jill - ohio needs the white male voice to sing strong ! there is the one note song….i am sure they are all trim fellows as well
If the current tenor of their voice is “weak” I don’t want to imagine what their version of “strong” would be!
Thanks for commenting, bg.
