On NPR this morning, Former Democratic National Committee chairman Joe Andrew (wow, he’s young), who announced yesterday that he was switching his support from Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama, said that if Obama is the nominee, someone who is a Clinton supporter should be selected as the vice presidential running mate.

You can see the list of Superdelegates as of April 17 here.  I haven’t been able to find one that allows me to group the delegates by elected office, but looks like there are some good choices for Obama in that Clinton column, Ohio Governor Ted Strickland being one of them.

Yes he can?  Yes they should? Rural Ohio voters?

Hmmm.

So Let me get this right dude you would rather vote for some who wants to leave you kids in Iraq for 100 years, run the economy like bush has, and cant hear the red phone when it is ringing at 3 am rather than elect someone because of what his pastor said not him? Well I hope you do vote for Mcsame and your son goes to Iraq and pays the price for your sill vote.

Strickland is it. He got an A rating from the NRA. Don’t worry though, he’s also rated 100% in areas like Pro-Public Education, 89% or something favoring Public Health, and is also progressive in social issues. He’s from Ohio, he supported Clinton, he won’t take your guns away, and he is experienced in Congress. I think McCain is screwed if this happens.

I’m re-reading these comments and can only add that on all the talking head shows, Ted seems to be the man. I’d kind of like to see Kansas’ Sibelius – but I actually need to research her a bit more to have a better idea.
