Major league hattip to Bill Sloat of The Daily Bellwether for highlighting how the current Democratic governor of Kansas, Kathleen Sibelius (daughter of former Ohio Governor, John Gilligan) wanted her state’s Attorney General, Paul Morrison – also a Democrat, to resign after “a female aide with whom he [Morrison] had an extramarital romantic relationship filed federal sexual harassment charges.”

Please, go read Bill’s post.  This post he links to reads almost like a prophecy for Ohio. Oy. Come on, folks.  Do the right thing. For Ohio for cripes sake.

One Response to “Kansas Gov. dealt w/Dann-like AG office sexual harassment case, AG resigned”

That’s not entirely true. Kansas’s Democrat Governor actually stated that Mr. Morrison should resign if any allegations of illegal conduct were proven true. The Governor took no stand on the decency, morals, or lack of integrity displayed by Mr. Morrison. So, no moral high ground there for Kansas Dems to stand on at all. Kind of like in Ohio – to say that Governor Strickland and the party’s leadership became aware of the rumpus in Columbus at the same time the rest of state did would be like saying the moon is made of cheese. No moral high ground there either for Ohio Democrats to stand on. If Ohio Dems were really outraged, they would’ve done something much earlier, instead responding only when it was evident that what was going on across the street from the Capitol building would hurt them in November.
