    Jill –

I wouldn’t say the results have been altered. Google adjust its search algorithm regularly based on many things. It’s just a technology thing not a political thing.

I think it IS a political thing. Algorithms, sure, but the AG’s office had the power to remove the subheadings without a conscious effort on Google’s part. Note that the algorithms change the ranking of pages, but the top page in both instances is the same: the official page of the Ohio Attorney General. Therefore, the change is not one wrought by an algorithm.

And if the AG’s office is busy at work redacting how the official AG page looks on a Google search, you can bet that they are toiling away at altering records WITHIN the office to scrub it of evidence. All the more reason to pry Dann out of office now via impeachment. Let’s get him out before they finish their purge so we have a chance of finding some evidence left behind.

I’m pretty certain that the current result is the result of someone altering the content available for Google to display at that level. However, the governor, secretary of state and auditor offices have the same display of hyperlinks like the earlier result had, but the treasurer’s office doesn’t.

Maybe one of my SEO friends will help me figure it out. Regardless, less irony is a good thing right now.
