Jill, I bet they lost your email address. That’s it. Right.
Can you believe they didn’t contact me either Jill?
For shame on them…
Michael – it is a true shanda! If this is not proof of unconscionable hiring practices, then my name must be David Brennan.
Cheri – oh! yes! I should check my other accounts.
They have 15 openings in OHIO; I do not see this position on their web site. However, that is the Life Skills web sites, all of those positions are teaching or administration.

White Hat has two jobs listed for OHIO, this one and a director’s position.

They call their office corporate yet they are an LLC that is a minus on the linguistic test.
Do you really think they are making a profit on these schools? You believe they are sending the money back to the PAC’s. Is the lawsuit an attempt to take that back based on a technicality? That being the PAC was not register in Ohio, registered in Virginia.
I’m not sure, they say they have 400+ students registered for the campus on the west side, take a camera down there and see if there are that many. It should be easy to see 400 students. Interview some of them; ask for a tour, tell them you are freelance journalist.
Maybe someone can take the Internet job as a mole to see where the money goes.
The school has 400 students that is a $ 2,000,000 a year budget, which would employee 50 people not calculating anything other than 40K as cost of each. Then you have the space, the utilities…. I do not know ask the kids, how many people work in the school?
There is much written with respect to one line comments, they come across as concise and controlled. The source is said to be doing that intentionally, it does not prove anything the advertisement it confirms that they are advertising. We already know they have a business model that is per profit and not per profit.
The government created it, or allowed its creation, they allowed to many licensing agencies and did not offer much in standards of progress and accountability.
This type of system already exists within higher education, trade schools that are per profit, all these funded through federal Pell Grants. We have no idea if any student that graduates from these programs actually ever gains employment in a related field. Why do we have these, do they take money from the community colleges, from the state universities?
The public school system cannot be destroyed it is constitutionally protected, the charters are and should be policed and held accountable for sure they are totally public schools, and if the funds are being directed back to a PAC that needs to stop.
The budget of each individual school really tells the tale, and they really need to make sure that the registered students are actually attending. If the curriculum is self-directed and computer based then the Ohio Department of Education should track attendance as well as standards of progress. Set standards of progress and attendance, the Pell Grants have that, not initially but they added it to prevent fraud.
