    You were right and it looks like I was wrong about the special election thing.

    Though could winters stay on through the deadline of Sept 24 then they could appoint a replacement? I dont know how that works…

    Hey - it seriously is all a guessing game, you know? :)

    I highly doubt Winters will stay on - as was suggested at the press conference today, there’s a Noe connection there. And Winters was brought in my Dann - I don’t see how Winters survives. Frankly, I wouldn’t want to. There are times for sticking to your guns, making a mess into an opportunity, but I don’t think, this close to Dann’s position? That Winters is one of those - I would think he should move on, for himself and for the department.

    That’s just my gut.
