There’s a smattering of articles about how some of us don’t like any of our choices – that’s been me since Bill Richardson dropped out. And here’s a reminder of why I liked Joe Biden. Hattip Progress Ohio.

I , too, liked Senator Biden. I had the pleasure of dealing with his office with regard to a “Highland dance” situation. He and his office responded to me ( in Ohio) in a very timely manner, and although a small hiccup situation, I was very impressed with how he and his staff responded and the fact that they didn’t make the query seem insignificant and “he bothered” wish I could same the same for other Senators/ Congressmen that I have contacted over the years….I liked him and still do …. And “bull—-” is an apt term. See “On Bullshit” by Harry Frankfurt, which is a great little book (about $10 or so).

Politics is full of B.S., but I suppose there are moments, like Bush’s speech yesterday, that cross the B.S. line and take it to a whole new level. Good for Biden for calling Bush on it.

Biden would make a great president.

Unfortunately he doesn’t have the chutzpah needed to be a great national candidate.

Joseph brings up a good point. The people who would make the best Presidents aren’t necessarily best suited to navigating (and surviving) the nomination process.

For example, my first choice was Edwards. (I’m now supporting Obama.) I think Edwards would be a great President, and might even be the strongest candidate one-on-one against McCain, but he got smoked in the primaries.

Thanks for sharing that Loraine. It’s those little things that really count.

What is so BS about it? Obama said what he said. It is right there for everyone to see. Now we have to hear it is a “false political attack?” Really?

It’s BS because Sec. Gates and Sec. Rice have acknowledged that we should be talking to Hamas (and we probably are already).

If Obama doesn’t pick Joe Biden as his Secretary of State I will be sorely disappointed.
