By accident, a few years ago, I learned about a blog called Autism Vox.  It is excellent.  It’s been a while since I’ve conversed with the primary blog author and I believe she even was at BlogHer last weekend but we did not meet, I’m sorry to say.

However, she is a great writer and blogger and someone on Savage’s team should be RSSing her blog.

In the meantime, I’ll provide the public service of two links to her blog about the Savage travesty:

Kristina should be ‘compulsory’ reading for that team indeed. Hope you manage to meet up with her next year.
    Best wishes

Thanks for commenting, Maddy. I couldn’t agree more. It was a “didn’t think about it” moment a year or two ago that eventually brought me to Kristina’s blog – I think I was ranting about how poorly behaved I felt the Plain Dealer’s editorial board was and I applied the word autistic to them. Really, really bad form, poor taste and just wrong. I was sorry then and I am sorry now – except that it opened me up to a lot of great resources and writers. The person who first apprised me of this mistake wasn’t all that forgiving and wanted a lot of action against me and wrote a lot about how wrong I was and I was emblematic and so on. I was empathetic and just redoubled my efforts to listen, read and observe where the conversations were. I haven’t made that mistake again and I hope to be able to help see when others do, and help them learn as I have.

So again – thank you for reading and commenting.
