I’ll never forget how that Michael Flory, the MI Young Republican guy who sexually assaulted a women 11 years younger than him when they were in Cleveland for a big young GOP bash and he wanted leniency because he wanted to be able to be a father to his young child. I just had to shake my head and say, huh?

Likewise anyone in this sting who is in fact guilty – they should be doing the really right thing, not the delusionally right thing.

I heard something on the news today about someone in the military who raped and assaulted a whole bunch of women and is supposed to have the death penalty but keeps appealing and I just kept thinking, “You have GOT to be KIDDING ME! This guy KNOWS what he did and STILL he puts it off.”

Talk about personal responsibility. Is there really anyone who can’t take more personal responsibility somewhere in their life?

If, however, the seat becomes vacant prior to that cutoff date, then there would be an election this year for the unexpired term. I don’t think Sutherland would be able to switch slots because she ran in the primary in the spring.

In either case, the Dem Executive Committee would appoint Dimora’s replacement.
