So says Tribble Ad Agency:
Our sources work within an ad agency that is hired by the Obama campaign, and have noted that the vast majority of the discussions there are regarding material logistics in terms of Kathleen on the vice president ticket. Now until this is verified please file it as rumor, however our sources on this are not bad.. and have yet to be proven wrong.
Our source noted “It will get a women on the ticket that shares the same views as Obama” a reference to many of the Hillary supporters..
Then of course we had to do some research.
I’d be surprised by this choice but who knows - right now anyway. Check out the comments in that thread.

I’ve seen several different stories claiming to know who the VP pick was today, and all of them have picked a different person. It’s all just speculation.
Smiling - no doubt, no doubt. This is the first one I’d seen but I’m not monitoring it very closely - it will be who it’s going to be - blogging about it isn’t changing it.
Seriously this is getting old. Just make your damn pick already, Lord Obama. It isnt that big of a deal unless it is Hillary.
I will stand up and cheer loudly if it is indeed Kathleen. She is the only one that makes sense at this point. She is a governor, not a senator, and she’s good at what she does. She is very supportive of green issues. Biden, et al — blech!
I’m still hung up that they stated “It will get a women … ” rather than “It will get a woman …”
Village - now now - I liked Biden.
But I’d be okay with Sibelius too.
Roland - right you are! oy. lol maybe one reason why people are rolling their eyes. We will know when we know - big deal.
If Kathleen Sebellius is indeed the pick, it has nothing to do with that rumor. The campaign more than likely has close to a dozen names and identity packages ready to go. It’s also very possible that several places are doing work on this without others knowing they are. In 2004, Dick Gephardt was allegedly the pick (similar reports of logos, etc), but the story about Edwards broke once the decals hit the campaign plane. That’s a pretty big decoy to stage.
There are probably only a dozen people who know the pick right now. You can’t trust people outside the inner circle. I’d say it’s highly unlikely the ad agencies know the final pick, instead they prepare for them all. I think the website breakdown they gave as research is a stretch. I’d be surprised if they change the main URL from barackobama.com. Having people type obamasebellius.com is a wee bit much to ask.
Well, this is why I say, are they decoy because obviously that’s what’s going around. Great analysis though, thanks.
W/ the latest infanticide problem hovering Obama it cant be Seibelius due to her past abortion associations.
Ben, pahleese.
Abortion associations? I’ve been reading about her and her stand on abortion is not to allow any criminalizing, she has vetoed any such laws that came to her.
Kansas has statistics, they track abortions, and are recording a drop something around 8% since she has been in office.
She is pro social programs for prevention of abortions through such programs, that’s very much what Obama has taken as his position, that being reduction in the numbers but not by making it criminal.
That’s the moderates approach. And got her elected in a conservative state.
The moderates get attacked by both-sides…by those that are most vocal, but the silent majority see the logic and reason in taking the middle ground.
This woman does not have “brand name appeal”, which is both good and bad, but she is not radical or she would never have gotten elected in Kansas. She would and does appeal to moderate conservatives and woman in general. These are two sector Obama’s campaign is looking to gain ground within.
And at 60 years old she also appeals to the baby boomers. She is also from politics the daughter of a governor and her husband as well is from politicals. Thats about knowing people and also about understanding how the processes works or have historically not worked.
