How to Follow Hurricane Gustav

I made contact with my college roomie who lives in New Orleans and they were on their way to Nashville on Saturday.  My college buddy who lives south of Mobile, Alabama said that they were staying put, but she’s worrie about New Orleans.

I’m following Hurrican Gustav in a few ways but if you go to summize.com and then type in “#gustav” you can see the tweets of both news outlets and individuals who are in and around the area of Gustav (as well as people just commenting on it).

If you want to learn on how you can help, then do a summize search on “@acarvin” – that’s Andy Carvin of NPR.   There are several folks who use Twitter.com to maximum effect and Andy is one of them – much to our benefit.
