Isn't that why he went back to his birthplace, Ohio, to raise his family? Eric Carmen is a beautiful singer and songwriter, and if you are a genuine goodhearted person it's not a life living in LA or NY among the phony and jaded. If Eric stayed in the limelight he'd still be as famous as he was, he just didn't want to stay. I commend him. He's a real man. Sometimes guys like him can make a living writing for and/or producing other artists, but that's not easy to do in suburban Cleveland. Seriously, is it time we start scrutinizing the judicial system a little more? The judges and prosecutors(groan)are the ones responsible for allowing someone like a Mark Provenza to reach the "milestone" of a 4th D.U.I. charge. And as a society, I believe we're just "accepting" this type of behaviour more and more each day.
