Reason #29 to VOTE FOR Obama/Biden


Because Barack Obama and Joe Biden have worked for my vote.

What work can I point to?

1. Fundraising

2. Travel

3. Speeches, pitstops and yes, hands he’s shaken

4. Comebacks for every charge.

5. Making good decisions that involve going to other people whom he knows know better and then listening to those people.

6. Never sticking with any one line of attack beyond its use.

7. Never substituting discussion of issues with distracting lines of personal attack.

8. Enormous attention to the Jewish vote (I’ll be writing a separate post on the campaigns extremely targeted efforts in NE Ohio).

Could he be doing better in some areas for me? Sure – women and education are two areas I’d really like him to attend to.  But compared to McCain, whose lexicon seems to have contracted to about 50 words that merely mimic his running mate’s perseveration on “maverick” “reformer” and “energy,” well – there’s just no comparison.

I go in for the serious types, I don’t care about the beer drink with me factor.  Especially not when the economy is in the tank, and I live in Ohio.  And I was a Biden, Dodd and Richardson fan before voting Clinton in the Ohio primary.  But I voted for her because I saw her as more serious and less about beer drinking in comparison to Obama.

Now, I take my sober comfort in the Obama/Biden ticket.

On November 4, vote for Obama/Biden.
