The fast went far faster than I thought it would but the exhaustion remains.  You’d think doing nothing other than thinking about sins, feeding other people why you don’t eat and reading wouldn’t lead to that.  But, at least tomorrow is Friday.

So here’s the thing that needs feedback – it’s a post by Daniel Jack Williamson, a fellow Ohio blogger and co-editor of the Carnival of Ohio Politics.  You can offer it here or there or in both places.  As I wrote Daniel in an e-mail, I’m pretty flattered that someone would take the time he has to consider my writing so thoroughly.  I’m not really sure what, other than life, he thinks is the “external” factor that influences what I write. But if you really want to see longwinded?  I could try to carve out a half a day and write a post about how and why and what I write.  I can’t imagine anyone would be interested but I bet I could turn it into a good essay.

I have posted this over on DJW site ( it is awaiting moderation :) but here for what it is worth

I must admit I have stayed away from the Presidential Posturing on both sides, one of those dreaded Independents who actually is fed up to the teeth with the whole thing. But Daniel , Jill does write like she talks and writes as she feels ……. if she feels so strongly one way why would you think she has been “influenced” by outside forces…could she just not feel strongly and passionately because she just feels strongly and passionately about her choice. I have never met Jill but from her writings I would say you are off base on this one… just my unbiased opinion :)

You and I have “talked” about both of us changing off our blogs, but as I commented over on Daniel’s blog, I have not focused on Issue 6 the way you and I did on Learn and Earn.

While I would prefer not to be focused on like what was just done to you, it also isn’t fair to make an issue out of you not focusing as much on Issue 6 as happened with Learn and Earn without putting that same focus on me.

    Apples. Oranges.

I read Glass City Jungle much more often than I did two years ago.

It wasn’t long ago that I DID read an anti-Issue 6 entry at Glass City Jungle. Thanks for that.

Well, apples and oranges are still fruit. Which maybe you didn’t read the Carnival of Ohio Politics back then or either one of my blogs since my adventures with Learn and Earn started there with encounters with Learn and Earn supporters during the signature process.

Jill was one of the few bloggers who shared my belief that Learn and Earn was bad from the very beginning.
