Wake up before we elect the wrong man – unless of course you ALSO hate America. Or “AmeriKKA” as Rev Wright charmingly likes to call it.

Where the hell does she get off questioning anyone’s patriotism. I’m a military family members. My brother is off fighting this unjust war. I love my country, but it’s truly f’ed up right now and I want to change it.

I’m an unabashed liberal, but I’ll put my patriotism up against Michelle Bachmann’s any day. Bring it on, Michelle, sweetie, because you have no idea of the sh*tstorm you have just unleashed on your own head.

But as for Michele Bachmann and just not listening? You know – I do often take that “just ignore it” route. But in her case, I think it’s different. She is someone who is in her position of relative power and platform because people in her state voted for her, but she wants to tell all of us what is anti-American and what we should fear. She suggested that all the media focus on the people she calls liberal legislators, which include people from my state, no doubt (think Dennis Kucinich or Sherrod Brown), and I object to that.

If she wants to reveal information about these individuals, then she should do it. But to suggest that people you or I voted for should be investigated because she thinks liberalism is or leads to or masks anti-Americans? That’s just not okay in my book and I believe that those of us who find her suggestions offensive and with no place in our democracy should point it out.

I believe that, as a willing spokesperson for the McCain campaign, she should be scrutinized.

As for Michelle Bachman, just don’t listen to her if you don’t believe in what she’s saying. Every time I try to stop to listen to Keith Olberman, I have to remind myself to change the channel.
