Speaks for itself. Yes, I’m pro-choice. Here’s the McCain/Palin position on abortion.

Winning Message Action Fund Exposes McCain’s Dangerous Position on Reproductive Choice
Organization turns attention to critical swing state of OhioToday, the Winning Message Action Fund (an issue advocacy organization that educates voters about consequences of the movement to ban abortion) unveiled a hard-hitting advertisement which demands that Senator McCain explain exactly what he envisions will happen if his efforts to ban abortion are successful.
“The McCain/Palin ticket has made clear its opposition to abortion access. But we know that banning abortions won’t stop them, it will just make them extremely dangerous,” said Kelli Conlin, President of the Winning Message Action Fund. “We have questions Senator McCain: will you stand by as states put women behind bars? As good doctors are forced to stop providing abortion care? If women are forced to return to back-alleys? What, John McCain, will you do then?”
The reality is that 21 states would move to ban abortion immediately if Roe is overturned and Ohio would be plunged into a divisive battle over the future of legalized abortion within its borders.
Twice in the last three years legislation has been introduced in the Ohio House of Representatives that would outlaw abortion even if a woman’s life was in danger. Under these laws, physicians who provide abortions — even to save women’s lives — could go to prison for up to 15 to 25 years.
Points out Kellie Copeland, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, “These laws do not reflect our state’s values and are the handiwork of extremist politicians. A recent poll shows that 82% of Ohio voters oppose outlawing abortion; we will not return to the days of back-alley abortions when women died from illegal, dangerous procedures.”
Concludes Conlin, “This campaign energizes and motivates those voters who have allowed choice to fall below their radar. It is time that we call out candidates at all levels of government who say they want to ban abortion and ask them to answer some serious questions. Because John McCain said it himself: ‘elections have consequences.’ We need to know exactly what those consequences will be for women.”
The “How Much Time” campaign will air on cable and broadcast TV (including The Early Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show) in Ohio from October 25 through Election Day.

GOD I hope WOMEN undestand this. I hope they understand that this is the beginning of the end of any control over our bodies and minds and decisions.

Take the same video, put babies in it, and then have the narrator say that the babies are getting the death penalty. That’s what Obama stands for.
Society is really going to hell in a handbasket when it decides that killing unborn children is all about a right of an adult to “choose.” The choices come before you get pregnant. There are lots of things you can do to prevent it, and using two certainly increases the effectiveness. A woman’s choices come before she creates another human being, not after.
Same as hopping on an airplane. The decision whether to fly to a destination you don’t really want to go comes before door is shut and the plane pulls away from the gate, not after.
I’m curious how much time Jean and Daniel think women who have illegal abortions should do. If they think abortion is the same as murder, I assume they think the penalty should be the same. In Ohio that is 15 years to life. Most women who have abortions already have children. I suppose Jean and Daniel won’t mind paying higher taxes to build all these new prisons and take care of all these children.
So when women are forced to have these children and they are beaten and abused because their mothers didnt want them, whos gonna save them then, or when no one wants them because their crack addicted whos gonna take them home, hope sarah palin has a big home!
Lyn, this video was made about a make-believe world. The video I’d substitute in its place is about what is happening in real life.
Although this add they are running is silly because there circumstances they try to convey would never take place, any woman who kills a baby, inside or outside of the womb should be treated like the criminal she is.
Abortion is not about the right over a woman’s own body. For the vast majority abortion is nothing more than a matter of convenience. They simply do not want the baby for a variety of reasons that would inconvenience them at that time of their respective lives.
What a shameful part of our American history this time will be. At some point, future generations will look upon these current generations as crude barbarians who were more than willing to kill their own due to simple inconvenience.
I laugh when someone tells me this baby in the womb should not be considered a life due to the fact they they are not self sustaining. What unborn or born human being is self sustaining? I need shelter, food, oxygen, etc. to continue living. These babies are no different than you who have been born. They need the same things to continue to live. There is only one self sustaining being. God. Other than that being, we are all in the same boat. We all have the same needs. Whether it’s inside the womb or outside of the womb our needs are the same.
As a result of this fact, anyone who kills a child in the womb is nothing less then a murderer who will one day have to answer for their crime. And as the judges like to say to convicted criminals who have been condemned to death, May God have mercy on your soul.

OK, then what’s her sentence in your Dominionist world? Every law must have a sanction. So what would be yours?
Take your sanctimonious religiosity and shove it where the sun don’t shine. Your time has come and gone.
I only know one thing! During a amniocentesis which was performed early in my wifes pregency, we saw my daughter reach up and grab the needle the doctor was using to withdrawal the fluid. I don’t know about you but that doesn’t remind me of a small mass of tissue!.. To kegbot1, The Bible says that God knew us before the world was created, just think of all the great things that won’t be created or cures that may have been, that won’t be! ooh by the way he loves you too!.
