I’m just the messenger. From Ynetnews.com:

“Seeing as we live in an extremist feminist state, the entire system is unjust, including the courts, welfare services, the police, and the government,” [Yaacov Schlusser] told Ynet. “The feminists are destroying every good part of this country. A country that doesn’t respect its men has no right to exist.”

When asked regarding his thoughts on equality between the genders he said, “In the past I was pro-equality, but I’ve seen that women don’t know how to accept equality. If you’re good they try to take over. I know this from the 20 years we’ve existed.”

Despite his views, he claims he is not a chauvinist. “The claims that I am a chauvinist are demagoguery. I love women and support relationships, my mother was a woman and I have a daughter,” he said. “I’m not against women but nature has rules: The man should be on top, there should not be equality.”

How big a threat does the Mens Rights in the Family Party pose?

Schlusser claims that last year his party received 4,200 votes, a far cry from the previous year’s 1,250 and enough to plant them in 20th place.

Israel is a coalition government that I know has been comprised of Knesset members from as many as 14 different parties.  So at 20th place, I think the men still have some work to do convincing people about their platform.  Note to self: check on the male to female ratio in Israel.

I’ve met a couple of women from Israel. Their dedication to their country and each other was truly an inspiration. That said, it seems to me that Israel has a few bigger problems to worry about. Not the least of which is Iran.

In our country, we talk a lot about how we will protect Israel, but in the past couple of years-we haven’t done much.

    And the latest plan:

“Haaretz, quoting an unnamed source, said the Obama administration would pledge under the proposed “nuclear umbrella” to respond to any Iranian strike on Israel with a “devastating U.S. nuclear response”.- From Haaretz.com

As the writer correctly points out, this statement appears to imply that we would accept a nuclear Iran. But even worse, apparently we would rush to action-only AFTER Iran sent nuclear missiles into Israel, killing all who live there. Clearly whoever devised this policy-whether it be Bush or Obama-does not understand the nature of radical Islam. For they have proven time and again that they are more than willing to die to further their agenda.

We have to be willing to protect Israel before Iran sends a nuclear missile into their country. Not after. It’s the least those living in Israel deserve.

Demagogy is melodramatic, then making the claim is melodramtic as demagogy is melodramatic.

“Children have a right to see their fathers. Otherwise they will lose their sexual identity. The child that sees a woman in control, in contradiction to nature, may turn homosexual,” he claims.

Can a powerful of male role model turn a child homosexual, Is there a higher probability of his daughter being a lesbian? It makes sense to me, she certainly has a good reason to be a feminist.

Not all feminist are lesbians, but some are. Not all chauvinist are gay, but some are.
Not all Obstetrician like woman, some just enjoy being able to hear them scream.

There are men’s rights political parties in countries other than Israel. Such countries include Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Australia.

In the UK, there is the Men’s Representative Party: http://www.mensrepresentativeparty.com

    Particularly enjoyed this…

“The man should be on top,”

    Missionary position for all.

Now how much more equal could one be?

Well it is good that he smiled in the photo, otherwise people may not be able to like him. Demagogy is melodramatic and demagoguery is melodrama. Demonizing a demon? Things politicians pull out of their hats.

Is there a homosexual party in Israel, one that wants everyone to be gay?

His analogy about orientation and gender roles…it assumes a matter of choice? Or does it assume it to be entirely environmental? Why do we have menus in restaurants. He seems gay, he seems like a closeted homosexual to me, insecure about it. The fragile male ego runs into the arms of another?

That’s what he is saying, the strong forceful woman will make men gay. That’s a hint to his own latency and a root of his aggression. There is a secret level of homosexuality within chauvinism, not in feminism thats out in front. That has to do with woman likening to rationalize everything and men just liking to do it.

Who do you love and how do you come undone, an inability is inherently a short coming.

Its like venturing into why some love each other, often it seems impossible and often contrived as an existence merely formed out of role playing and conveniences. That’s why the divorce rates are high

One may imagine that his wife would be washed out tired and emaciated, then again she may be a entirely well adjusted woman that actually rules in the passive manner, he being totally dependent on her. A child could find adversity in that and seek an alternative or they may emulate it.

I cannot believe this or relate to it, that’s a form of melodrama and demagogy. It is a short coming limiting to one perception and denies the existence of other perceptions.

Touchy feely emotional politics are inherently incendiary and divisive, that’s demagoguery.

Can I suggest that the man in question go into therapy because he is having some serious self-esteem issues. If he thinks that a woman’s success diminishes his own, then he really needs some self-reflection.

I totally agree about your principals of equality and would like to add that the man is historically the go out and getter( hunter) and women the home maker and child care. which ever way women argue one cannot deny this.hunter
