And I have it officially and had it but, unlike the MSM that could not restrain itself, I abided by the rules.  Oh those rascally traditional journalists with all their fancy expensive filters.

Ohio Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner – come on down as the first announced Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Republican George Voinovich.

And here’s her new website which should be live in about five minutes with the video announcement of her candidacy.

Given the short length of my “political” life – that isn’t saying much, Ben. :)

Oh and Ben – let me tell you what would be the best day – when Mary Taylor bucks those boys at the ORP and enters the senate race. THAT would be awesome.

No, no – no, these aren’t the biggest moments. Wait – it was when I was at the NPR studios the night Obama was elected – yeah, that was it.

Ack – no – wait – I have a better best moment of my political life – when I sat with all the interns in the office on the Hill when I interned for CT Rep. Bruce Morrison and we watched the censure proceedings of Gerry Studs – yeah – that was the most memorable political day.

Gosh – this must seem so crazy – no, you know what my BESTest political moment EVER was?

When I received word that Pepper Pike had approved the change in the political yard sign law – that HAS to be it!

    Thanks for asking, Ben. :)

Aw hell – I forgot all about how I got the city of Pepper Pike to drop a blue law that discriminated against Jews – they wouldn’t allow garage sales on Sundays – but they changed it after I raised the issue.

Now that – yeah…I’m thinking THAT was my best political moment.

Wow – you really got me thinking, Ben.

What has been YOUR best political moment, btw? Don’t tell me – leaving a comment for me about this being my best political moment, right??! Yeah – don’t be shy now.

    ;)

Ok – really – this is the LAST thought I have on this. How could I forget!!?

Learning that I was named 2008 Most Influential Person in Pepper Pike – now THAT, yes, indeed, that HAD to, HAS to be the best political moment in my life. Sorry Jennifer, Mary – sorry.
