Today was my first day on the streets of Pepper Pike, on my way to the required number of valid signatures so that my name can be on the November 3, 2009 ballot in the election for Pepper Pike City Council (non-partisan, top four vote-getters).

Well done. The right kind of Chutzpah.

    Shalom Jill,

Why the secure video on Facebook hassle?

    Why not post to YouTube?

It would be the transparent thing to do.

    B’shalom,

    Jeff

Hi Jeff – thanks for the heads up – I was not aware that much is secure on Facebook! ;) Seriously though, I was not aware that they’re not…viewable at Facebook, I assume? If you aren’t on Facebook, is that what’s happening?

I was trying out the video upload on Facebook since Anthony started a group there and it had been suggested that I use the video tool.

I also never think that anyone would want to embed such a thing so I didn’t really think about that part that YouTube allows that I guess FB does not (though I read that you can save FB videos as “targets” from where I posted it on my blog).

Regardless, it was NO problem to put on YouTube and had nothing to do with transparency in terms of why it is/was on FB only last night. Just time and tinkering. :)

    Thanks again.

I am so excited about this! And so proud of you! Tell you videographer it was good, steady shooting, too – and all in focus! Nicely done all around.

Thanks, Cynthia – the videographer is very pleased to get the compliments and now has to come with me everywhere. :)
