(Office) 614-602-6529 / (Cell) 614-579-7473Brunner Blog for a Better Ohio Unveiled
Jeff Coryell has been named the editor of the Brunner Blog for a Better Ohio. The blog is located www.jenniferbrunner.com, the official website of U.S. Senate candidate Jennifer Brunner. Coryell is the founder and former editor of the popular Ohio Daily Blog. “Although Jennifer will be too busy with her duties as Ohio Secretary of State and the demands of a vigorous campaign to post on a daily basis, you can expect posts by the candidate to appear here as often as her schedule permits. Jennifer’s staffers and supporters from around the state will be invited to make guest posts as well,” said Coryell.
The interactive website also features Brunner’s Facebook page, campaign video uploaded to YouTube and photos.
Known for her efforts to provide voters with multiple outlets to express their views about Ohio government, Brunner has made it a practice to connect with voters via the internet. Just last month she participated in a live blog at firedoglake.com. She is a staunch supporter of transparent government and improving communication with constituents through technology. In April she was a presenter at the 2009 Politics Online Conference in Washington, D.C.
Brunner is seeking to replace retiring Senator George Voinovich in 2010. If elected she will become the first woman to hold a U.S. Senate seat from Ohio.

Jeff is perhaps the most respected blogger and citizen journalist in the state of Ohio, by his peers in the blogosphere, in the political world and in the mainstream media as well. Congrats to Jeff but perhaps even bigger congrats are to whomever made this decision.

It’s great to see Jeff get back out there on the Internets in this role. Jennifer Brunner will undoubtedly benefit.
It’s always nice to see someone genuinely worthy get the recognition he or she deserves.
