Local NPR broadcaster, WCPN, broadcast a report this morning by Jo Ingles of the Ohio Statehouse News Bureau about Ohio political candidates deploying social media (like my candidate Facebook fan page, though that was not part of the report):

Success of Obama campaign has many politicians looking to harness social media

It’s more and more common to find politicians running for major statewide offices on social internet sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter these days. Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles reports on why candidates are investing time, energy, and money into reaching out on these social networks.

Ohio blogosphere’s own Kelley Bell-Wenzlaff and her company, Apple Sassy, were featured in the report.

And here’s where you can find the Bureau’s archives and the report in future days.
